Monday Power Talks 50 – Power & money
Ok, first off, I have now made 50 of these! Amazing!
Today I talk about Power and Money – this is a real stickler for most healers (and for me myself, believe me I get it) and it’s really important that we make our peace with this and that it becomes a powerful thing for us – not a power drain.

Money meditation from Corrina Gordon-Barnes
Below you can listen to an excerpt from a coaching call I was on earlier this year with Corrina Gordon-Barnes. Corrina is an amazing coach and this particular guided visualisation was very enlightening for me. I am very grateful to Corrina for given permission for me to share this meditation with you! And if you want to carry on learning from Corrina, there are some great starter resources on her website or you can get a copy of her book, Turn your Passion to Profit.

Monday Power Talks 46 – Power & illness
Morning, power hunters. This week, I’m thinking about the idea of illness. Illness can often be a symptom of power loss, but today I urge you to look at illness in a different way. Illness = bad, health = good is an over simplification, and is in itself disempowering for the person concerned. Today I ask, where can we find power in illness?
If you can’t see the video above, go here.
Illness is an emotive one, particularly for those in the healing community living with illness. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this, please comment below…
Monday Power Talks 45 – The power of a day off!
Oh, hello, did I start forgetting to take time off again? This is not good for power levels – and what’s more if you are someone who is no good at taking time off either, then that’s probably rooted in some crappy beliefs that are disempowering for you in a more general way. Let’s have a look at that, shall we?

Big love, stay powerful xx
Monday Power Talks 43 – Power and complaining
Hey chums,
Welcome to this week’s Monday Power Talk, where I complain like a right old whinger to aptly illustrate the power issues associated with complaining
Seriously, the irony of my complaints in this video are not lost on me – but this stuff is catching!
Are there big moany complainers in your life, and what does this mean for your power levels? What are you complaining about and how is this disempowering you on your path? Let’s do something less boring instead…
If you can’t see the video above, go here.
Here is a link to the “Complaint Free World” book that I referred to in the video. As I said, I didn’t make it to 21 days myself (but I learned a lot!)… perhaps it’s time for me to revisit this challenge? I seriously recommend you read this book, and try the challenge if you can too. Even if you don’t complete it you will be changed. And if you do complete it, I high five you!
Monday Power Talks 39 – The power of throw away phrases
The power of words! I’ve said it before but there are so many levels… words have power in them. But do they all, really? What about when you’re only joking? What if it’s just a figure of speech? What if you know that people know what you really meant?? Do the words matter then? Yes. Here’s how little throw away phrases that litter our language are undoing our great works of power…
If you can’t see the video above, go here.
What throw away phrases do you catch yourselves using that undermine your work? Post them below!!
Monday Power Talks 35 – Power & jealousy
Hello friends
Today I talk about a little ‘negative’ emotional called jealousy. We all know it’s not good for us, but today I look at why being jealous of what others have is not good for our power either.
If you can’t see the video above, go here.
Remember, we need to be focused on our own soul path – not become distracted by the paths of others!
Have a powerful week…
Monday Power Talks 24 – Dreaming a new dream
Well folks, it’s mighty late in the day to be posting the Monday Power Talk. Due to an unforeseen change of plans last week, I found myself in a situation where it was very difficult to get the space, quiet and freedom to make the video. (Or any of the recordings I was supposed to be doing last week.) So, I thought, I’ll do it on Monday. But it was a really busy day and time slipped away and I didn’t get to make the video.
And I was annoyed. With myself, and with my current, chaotic situation which means that I don’t have the space that I’m used to or the ability to work in the way I normally do. Upheaval in our personal lives so often impacts on us in this way, we have to find workarounds sometimes, we are often in a limbo space before we find ourselves once again grounded in our own routines. It’s a valuable lesson in how much I valued my routine before.
And I got to thinking some very powerless thoughts. Things like ‘why is everything so bloody difficult at the moment?’ I caught myself thinking this way and realised that I was in need of a power talk to watch, let alone making one! I knew I needed a serious talking to about my own thinking – it doesn’t do to give power away like that just because life is feeling uncomfortable. I know how powerful my thoughts are – what was I doing thinking ‘life is difficult’?? I know better than that.
So I am reminding myself of the power of every thought I think. I watched a great interview with Mastin Kipp recently and when he found himself in a small amount of space unable to work properly, he received guidance that the reason he was living in a little pool house at that time was ‘this room is the size of your faith’. This really resonated for me. Not that I want a massive space, but a more peaceful and independent one. Like Mastin, my current work and life situation has come about because of my own thinking and my own faith.
It’s time to start focusing once again on dreaming a better experience into being for myself. The next few power talks will be about overcoming obstacles and working in challenging situations. Yes, we will wobble, as I did for a little while today. But then, we will stop wobbling, choose powerful thoughts, and use the experience to create something better. Something powerful.
So, for today’s power talk, I’m going to share a video with you that many of you (especially those that are following me on the Become Powerful journey this year) will not have seen. It’s about dreaming a new world into being, and invites you to take on a 40 day challenge. I did this a year ago and it shook things up big time, it was a really powerful time of manifestation for me. Somewhere along the line I stopped with this active dreaming practice to focus on personal healing and power. But of course, working with both the internal healing and the external acts of creation is the ideal practice. What is more powerful than deliberately creating a new reality?

Hope you enjoy the challenge, and have a really powerful week!
Monday Power Talks 17 – Power & Joy
This week’s power talk is about something that seems so simple: the importance of the feeling of joy in our lives, and how it can be a good indicator of our power. It’s something I think we already know, but it is also something that I am told we need to be reminded of – and ‘we’ includes me!
Not for the first time you will notice a link between these power teachings and the Law of Attraction ideas. Much of what we find in the Law of Attraction, and similar work, can be found in shamanism (although the language is very different). Law of Attraction is simply a recent way of communicating how to walk a path of power.

Have a powerful week – and remember to be joyful!
Monday Power Talks 10 – Power lost in the mirror
I believe that the humble mirror is in fact a magical and powerful object. Used correctly, it can be a great tool for your development. I’m not talking about gazing into the mirror to see the past or the future, and have information psychically shown for you. Although, obviously, I am a big fan of that! But today, I am talking about using a mirror for power work in a much more simple and down to earth way!
This video is inspired by the work of Louise Hay, who is a magnificent pioneer in the field of self development, self healing, and changing one’s own experience by changing one’s thoughts. Learn how you have lost power to the mirror in the past, and how it can become your ally in the restoration of your power going forward.

In case you are interested, here is a link to the Steve Jobs speech I referred to at the end.
